چکیده
Forest biomass is an appealing bioenergy feedstock due its renewability, availability and potential to stimulate local economies. It is, however, voluminous, with heterogenous fuel characteristics uncertainties in supply. The feasibility of a facility contingent on secure supply uniform feedstock; terminal the chain can be useful this regard. Biomass treated meet quality specifications stored overcome seasonality disruptions. Nonetheless, such terminals require significant capital investment; thus, decision use needs made judiciously. process must account for diverse set factors that influence terminal’s effectiveness. These include both quantitative qualitative factors. objective study develop multi-criteria decision-making framework takes into consideration while selecting terminal. consists analytical hierarchy analyze information, mixed-integer programming model evaluate information including (moisture content thermal value). This hybrid was implemented case study. proved effective tool identifying highest generate value chain.

Developing a multi-criteria decision support system based on fuzzy analytical hierarchical process (AHP) method for selection of appropriate high-strength wastewater treatment plant
The selection of optimum high strength wastewater treatment process is complicated. Be familiar with wastewater treatment methods is not enough to design a plant. In this research, five alternative wastewater treatment methods (upflow anaerobic sludge blanket (UASB) + membrane bioreactor (MBR), UASB + Extended aeration (EA), Anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR), anaerobic lagoon (ANL) + aerated lago...
متن کاملUsing Social Network Analysis to Support Collective Decision-Making Process
Current traditional technologies, while enabling effective knowledge sharing and accumulation, seem to be less supportive of knowledge organization, use and consensus formation, as well as of collaborative decision making process. To address these limitations and thus to better foster collective decisionmaking around complex and controversial problems, a new family of tools is emerging able to ...
متن کاملA Hybrid Fuzzy Multi-criteria Decision Making Model Based on Fuzzy DEMATEL with Fuzzy Analytical Network Process and Interpretative Structural Model for Prioritizing LARG Supply Chain Practices
In recent years, taking advantage of LARG supply chain (SC) paradigm, a combination of four paradigms (clean, agile, resilience and green) has been increasingly employed. For capturing the advantages of LARG in SC, companies needed to recognize proper practices and implement them with appropriate planning and infrastructure. However, one of its deficiencies is lack of proper method in the prior...
متن کاملStrategy-aligned fuzzy approach for market segment evaluation and selection: a modular decision support system by dynamic network process (DNP)
In competitive markets, market segmentation is a critical point of business, and it can be used as a generic strategy. In each segment, strategies lead companies to their targets; thus, segment selection and the application of the appropriate strategies over time are very important to achieve successful business. This paper aims to model a strategy-aligned fuzzy approach to market segment ev...
متن کاملIntegrating fuzzy case-based reasoning and particle swarm optimization to support decision making
Case-based reasoning (CBR) is a useful technique to support decision making (DM) by learning from past experiences. It solves a new problem by retrieving, reusing, and adapting past solutions to old problems that are closely similar to the current problem. In this paper, we combine fuzzy logic with case-based reasoning to identify useful cases that can support the DM. At the beginning, a fuzzy ...
